Information We Collect and How We Use It:
- Registration information may include personally identifiable information such as, but not limited to: name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, title, company information. In addition to the information we obtain at registration, we may ask for additional information at other times, such as when you register for a service or make a purchase.
- Road Machinery uses the information you supply to enable you to take advantage of the features available through the Road Machinery site. Once you register, you are no longer anonymous to Road Machinery and you are given a Road Machinery Username and are able to take full advantage of the Road Machinery’s many offerings. Additional information you volunteer enables us to better customize your experience.
Correspondence information
- We may also use your contact information to reach you regarding important issues about the use of our service.
- When you register with Road Machinery, you can choose whether or not you wish to receive information from our partners. The information will be sent directly from us. - We collect information about users in general, which does not necessarily identify the User, using our server log files and some of the methods described under “cookies”.
- We use this information to get a better understanding of our user base and to provide insight to improve the design and content of our site. Therefore we analyze our users’ demographics, interests, and behavior based on the information provided to us through our Web site. Our research and analysis is done on an aggregate basis, and is not intended to identify individual Users.

- We may disclose account information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the Terms of Use, or in a case where we believe an individual may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Road Machinery’s rights or property, other Road Machinery’s users, anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

- During the site subscription process, or during any session in which you change any of your subscription information, as a convenience to you – so you can avoid having to enter you username and password on every screen. This cookie is temporary and disappears when you exit you browser.
- Once during each visit to our site, if you are a site subscriber, as a convenience to you – so you can avoid having to enter you username and password every time you access a subscriber only area on the site. This cookie is temporary and disappears when you exit your browser.
- During the login process, you may be given a choice to activate a cookie that allows you to automatically login from your computer without having to remember your username and password. This is completely optional and is provided for your convenience. If you accept, the cookie will be saved to your hard drive, and will not be used for any purpose other than automatic login.
- During the log-in process to remind us of who you are and to access your profile (stored on our computers) in order to deliver to you a better and more personalized service. This cookie is set when you register or “Login” and is modified when you “Log Out” of our services.
- To estimate our audience size. Each browser accessing Road Machinery is given a unique cookie which is then used to determine the extent of repeat usage, usage by a registered versus unregistered user, and, in the future may be used to help target advertisements based on user interest and behavior.
- To measure certain traffic patterns, which areas of our site you have visited, and your patterns in aggregate. We use this research to understand how our users’ habit patterns are similar of different from one another so that we can make each new experience on Road Machinery a better one. We may use this information to better personalize the content, banners, and promotions that you and other users will see on our sites.

These services include (but are not limited to): BidLeads, BidLink.
- Road Machinery also collects IP addresses for system administration and to report aggregate information to our partners and advertisers. IP address information provides a name of the domain hosting your connection but cannot identify you personally.
- We have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online.
- Your personal information is password protected so that you, and only you, have access. However, it may on occasion be necessary for Road Machinery employees or contractors working on behalf of Road Machinery to have access to your profile to provide you with support or to perform certain maintenance tasks. This access happens on an as-needed basis only.
- You should not disclose your password to anyone. Also remember to sign off your Road Machinery account and to close your browser window when you have finished your work so as to prevent others from accessing your personal information if you share a computer with someone else or use a workstation in a public place.
- Although we take measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personally identifiable information that we collect will never be disclosed in manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Notice. Inadvertent disclosures may result, for example, when third parties misrepresent their identities in asking the site for access to personally identifiable information about themselves for purposes of correcting possible factual errors in the data.

Correction/Updating Personal Information:
